So you all probably know that I’m already a big fan of the Beau Bronz tanning range which gave me a healthy, natural looking tan and glow that didn’t irritate my sensitive skin or eczema at all.  I have been super lucky recently and have been in personal contact with Abi, who created the range and she offered me to try out a few new products before anyone else!  I’ve been testing these beauties out for the past few weeks and this is what I think!

SHIMMER TAN BRONZING CREAM 2%

This is my favourite product out of the bunch and I’m very excited about this – I think everyone will adore it.  Its basically a natural shimmer lotion that contains 2% DHA – which is a natural ingredient derived from plant sources which helps achieve a sunless tan.  So you basically apply this product everywhere (I’ve been using this before special occasions like dates and meals out) and you are left with a beautiful shimmer as well as the slightest natural fake tan.

Above you can see my fingers after applying the shimmer and you can see how beautiful it is.  The shimmer is actually gold dust powder which is very subtle, but glistens in the light.  I can tell now that this is going to look incredible on brown, tanned, olive & dark skins, as well as my pale English rose complexion.  I think this is a definite must have for summer holidays and for evening wear.  (I’ve also worn this with white tops and I didn’t get any transfer which is fab).

MINT CRYSTAL BODY SCRUB

Next up is the body scrub – to be used before you tan to remove dead skin cells or afterwards when you want to remove dead, tanned skin.  It has walnut and apricot seeds in it which are the scrubbing beads.  This also has a lovely strong scent of menthol which I’m told helps to open pores to help scrub away the old skin and because of the smell it makes it perfect for use in the morning, to wake you up!  This scrub isn’t too harsh so it won’t leave your skin looking red and also didn’t irritate my sensitive skin.

TAN CONDITIONING BODY WASH

Finally we have the tan conditioning wash – like a velvety shower gel which is soap free (big bonus) and contains soothing ingredients such as aloe vera and mandarin oils which are perfect to prolong your fake and natural tan all year round.  This shower gel doesn’t strip the skin or tan either so its also perfect for daily use.  This applies really softly and turns into more of a cream lather in the bath instead of a foam, which leaves my skin feeling lovely and moisturized.

There we have it!  Three soon to be released tan products from Beau Bronz.  I think these three products, along with one of their fake tans would be perfect to take away with you on holiday to help prolong your tan and to keep the skin soft and moisturized.  I’m off to Marrakesh in July and I’ll certainly be taking these with me.

So you girls probably now know that I’m as pale as casper and I love it.  BUT, that doesn’t stop me wanting to look naturally bronzed and golden every now and again.  I have steered clear of all tanning products since my last tan review (which you can read here), which bought me up in terrible eczema after.  However I decided to take the leap and try out a few fake tan products from the Beau Bronz range.

I applied the number 4 ‘Advanced Medium’ gradual tan all over my legs with a little mitt.  Again, it smells really nice, not at all like that weird mushroom smell you get with other fake tans.  On the beaubronz website it says this is perfect for English Rose complexions, which is great for me.  One little niggle I had about this was that once you’ve rubbed it in, you can’t see where you’ve already put it, which is difficult for someone forgetful and clumsy like me, but I thankfully managed to apply it evenly.

I then applied number 1 all over my arms and on my ankles and wrists.  I was told that you can fade #4 out into #1 to give a more natural tanned appearance.  Again, I couldn’t tell where I was putting it, but it didn’t take long to cover the whole surface area.  You can also apply #1 daily to keep your tan topped up.

RESULTS
So, after those three simple steps, all I had to do was wait for my tan to appear.  Here are the before and after pictures!

WHAT I THINK
I LOVE the results!!  I was expecting to go a nice shade of tangerine but instead I feel like my legs looked naturally glowing.  It doesn’t look orange in the slightest in real life and I’m very happy that I now know that I can use a product to make me look naturally tanned.  The smell doesn’t linger on the skin much after application and didn’t transfer onto my white sheets which was good.  And I’m most happy to say that my skin didn’t react at all to this tan – It didn’t irritate my eczema at all which I’m over the moon about.

So if any one has sensitive, irritable skin then give this a try, I’d definitely recommend it. When I run out of my travel sizes I’ll  def be purchasing a big #4 to see me through this summer!  If you wanted a darker tan – then I’d recommend #8 which is a darker more intense tan shade.  I love how Beau Bronz accommodates for all skin types and colours – something quite rare in beauty companies!  Each full size product retails at about £23, which is cheaper than St Tropez and around the same price as Xen Tan I believe, so I think its quite affordable.  Thumbs up from me!

On another note, the paparazzi were out in full swing photographing our Celebrity clients. Karen Barber shared her top tanning BeauBronz tips in the Daily Mirror this week and said she’s become “hooked.” It’s a healthy addiction that we’re certainly happy to have too! She continued to share “They make you look slimmer and feel more confident.” We’re glad your BeauBronz spray tan makes you feel good Karen, we aim to please….
